    These problems are way to common and often you wonder how am I going to deal with this?

    RV Flex Repair Roof Tape is specially formulated with a super sticky adhesive.  This allows the tape to adhere to tough to stick surfaces like EPDM Rubber Roofs (this is the most common RV roof).  It sticks to virtually all surfaces except silicone.  The top of the Tape is White and compatible with itself and with:

     

    All you have to do is:

    1.   Clean the surface well.  Acetone works as a good final wipe
    2.   Remove the bottom release liner in small amounts at a time
    3.   Start applying the Tape working in small sections
    4.   Smooth from the middle working outwards
    5.   Use the included Seam Roller to adhere well
    6.   Some people will coat over the Tape with the RV Flex Repair 100% Silicone Roof Coating to make the repair completely seamless.

    Tips:

    • Use on RV's, Motorhomes, Trailers, Mobile Homes, Rubber Roofs, Metal Roofs, Flat Roofs, Vents, Skylights, Wood, Fiberglass, Aluminum....
    • Cut a clean edge to peel corner of release liner
    • Work in small sections
    • Lay tape gently without stretching
    • You can overlap the tape on itself
    • Apply in 50F/10C temperatures and rising
    • Rough/Sand smooth (fiberglass), plastic surfaces before applying
    • Place tape on positive side (water pushes down on top of tape).  Tape should not have water forcing from the bottom/adhesive side out

    quality of tape

    I applied the tape, taking time to make sure it was flat and sealed to the top of my Coleman Sun Ridge camper roof. The tape lasted during our 1100 mile trip to Glacier National Park, stay of 7 Days. On our return trip to minnesota the tape did not hold and the top began to come apart. I used some rope to hold down top after part flew off. I will have to remove rest now. Dave

    Amazing produce

    We purchased this along with a whole kit for our 40' motor home. completed the whole job in one day. The best part is, that some leak that we couldn't find somewhere is not gone. This product has saved me thousands, we actually bought a whole kit a couple weeks later to use on a 5th wheel and it was just as easy. The customer support is amazing and responsive. If you are on the fence about this brand vs another, I can say without a doubt I will be coming back here.

    Amazing tape used on our TPO roof

    Love the texture and feel of the tape, did not have any wrinkles in my role and the backing did remove easy enough though it snagged up a few times but it wasnt a problem. Had to go back up the next day to re roll it but thats because it was below 50 when I applied it. I had one other issue, there was a seam that was created by the manufacturer but it probably never happens too often. I contacted Ray at customer service and he promptly sent us another roll. Amazing customer service! I also applied some 2 inch Eternabond tape the same day for another location on the trailer and these two tapes are very comparable, the Ziollo tape was of better quality with no wrinkles and the Eternabond had tons of wrinkles, anyway, dont look twice, this tape is amazing.

    Very quick patch

    I had several small holes in my roof of my RV. I was able to use a couple of long strips. Left it out in the sun for a few days, and came back to check the adhesion. It was very secure.

    Great product, durable in rainy region

    We get rain 60% of the time, I applied this product in the summertime and it we've had at least three torrential rain pours and has not leaked. Before applying this product I first wash the area of application then I let it dry for a few days. After that I went back and I then wipe it again with a dry cloth to get rid of any dust or debris that may be in the way and compromise the seal between the tape and the RV roof. I then apply the product and directly after use the roller across all of my application. Used to steel roof Vents and 8 are caused by a tree branch in single sheet vinyl roof. We'll see how the product holds do the winter however at this point it seems to be holding up well and sealed very nicely. We'll add photos

    RV Flex Repair

    Good job with the prep. Very important.

     

    What you need for your project:

    1. Biodegradable soap and scrub brush to clean the surface.

    2. Acetone and rags to give a final wipe before application. Can buy at any Home Depot, Walmart...

    3. Scissors or utility knife to cut the tape. Can use tweezers to help pull the corner of the release liner (backing) off.
